The MIP-810 near-infrared (NIR) applicator is designed to deliver light with a wavelength of 810 nm to the prefrontal region of the head. It uses low-intensity optical energy and is intended for general wellness applications such as relaxation, concentration, and mental clarity.

Operating modes:


  • 10 Hz (Alpha mode):Can support relaxation and stress reduction.

  • 40 Hz (Gamma mode):Can promote attention and concentration.

Note: The MIP-810 NIR applicator delivers approximately 50% of the optical power density of the Vielight Neuro 810 nm applicator.

The MIP-810 NIR applicator is designed for use in mild photobiomodulation of the brain.
This involves emitting 810 nm NIR photons into the prefrontal cortex.

Two operating modes are available:

- 10 Hz Alpha Mode | Supports relaxation and stress reduction

- 40 Hz Gamma Mode | Focus and Activation Support

Note: The MIP-810 NIR applicator has a power density of approximately 50% compared to the Vielight Neuro 810 nm applicator.

Please note: Although the applicators may look similar on the outside, they function differently depending on the model.
This applicator is intended for use exclusively with the MIP and must not be combined with other models.

Note for therapeutic practices and clinics:
The Vielight is not a medical device as defined by the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR). It is a photostimulation system for use in professional coaching and to support personal performance. It can also be used for non-medical studies using near-infrared light.
