The Neuro Gamma 4 features 5 Vie-LED modules that emit pulsed 810 nm near-infrared light at 40 Hz.

Although near-infrared light is largely invisible, the design delivers high power (~300 mW/cm² irradiance, 1000 mW per transcranial LED, 5000–6000 mW total) without generating heat. See 3rd-party testing report.

The Vielight Neuro Gamma is one of two next-generation transcranial-intranasal near-infrared (NIR) headsets designed for improved efficacy and ease of use at home for comprehensive brain photobiomodulation.

Its dynamic design is a significantly redesigned upgrade of the original Vielight Neuro. This powerful device features improved transcranial clusters and updated microchip LED technology, tripling the previous power density and developing a specialized form factor for a wider variety of head shapes and sizes.

Currently, Vielight Neuro Gamma is capable of obtaining one of the highest amounts of energy from a pulsed near-infrared LED source by integrating microchip technology into the intranasal diode as well.

I've been working with NFB for over three years now—sometimes more, sometimes less, but for the last two years almost daily. I've familiarized myself with the various manufacturers and suppliers.

I then opted for the Brainmaster 4x4. I haven't regretted this decision once. I've repeatedly looked at other devices and methods, which was always exciting and educational, but I wouldn't change anything. Four weeks ago, I decided to order the Discovery and the Avatar. I believe in the effectiveness and possibilities of NFB, also because I've achieved good results in my practice for dyslexia, dyscalculia, and ADHD. Treating adults as an accompaniment to and supplement to psychotherapeutic intervention, whether in the area of burnout, depression, stress management, sleep disorders, or migraines, is fantastic.

The possibility of incorporating a QEEG and thus achieving even more precise results seems to me to justify the investment, because I get fair value for money with the Brainmaster devices—a truly unique opportunity to help people alleviate their suffering as often as possible. CORE FUNCTIONS

The main difference between the neuro devices lies in the pulse frequencies they provide access to:

  • The Neuro Gamma 4 near-infrared light pulses at 40 Hz, a frequency associated in scientific literature with gamma brain waves.
  • The Neuro Alpha 4 near-infrared light pulses at 10 Hz, a frequency associated in scientific literature with alpha brain waves.
  • The Neuro Duo 4 provides access to both pulse frequencies – alpha and gamma.

Gamma waves are often associated in the literature with concentrated work, while alpha waves are often associated with relaxed states of mind.

DISCLAIMER

The Vielight is not a medical device, but a non-medical photostim system for professional coaching and advanced home training to improve memory and cognition, which can also be used for research using near-infrared light.

Its modular design with 5 Vie-LEDs enables laser-like irradiation of important brain networks – howeverwith the safety of LEDs.

Vielight devices are designed for non-invasive use. However, there are certain limitations and precautions that should be observed.

Contraindications: Use is not recommended for individuals with active cerebral hemorrhage or a history of epileptic seizures. Pregnant women should consult their physician before using photobiomodulation devices.

Possible side effects: Mild, temporary effects such as headaches, dizziness, or mild discomfort at the application site have been reported in isolated cases. These symptoms usually resolve on their own.

RECOMMENDED USE

The Manufacturer recommends that initially the Neuro Gamma 4 can be used every other day up to six days a week – depending on personal preference.

A session lasts about 20 minutes.

General recommendation: daily use.

Some users prefer to use it in the morning or early afternoon.
