When modern psychiatry meets innovative neuromodulation

This year, a new building for psychiatry and psychosomatics for medbo is being constructed at the Parsberg site – with an inpatient area, day clinic, and Psychiatric Institute Outpatient Clinic (PIA).

medbo (Medical Facilities of the Upper Palatinate District) is one of Bavaria's largest municipal healthcare networks and stands for quality-assured, near-home psychiatric and psychosomatic care.

For us as Neurofeedback Partners, this project is special.
We are very proud to be able to significantly support medbo in setting up the neurofeedback department – in close coordination with Dr. Dr. Hausner and Mr. Christian Schweiger.

As part of the new building, medbo consciously opted for comprehensive and future-oriented equipment. A significant portion of this comes from our portfolio, including central developments from the IFEN Neuroscience Lab, which were developed for modern clinical applications and now have a firm place in healthcare.

These solutions are the result of years of clinical, technical, and scientific work and were specifically designed for modern, differentiated neuromodulation – with the aim of effectively, integratively, and sustainably supporting therapeutic processes.

The equipment for the neurofeedback department includes:

- Multimodal neurofeedback systems with BrainMaster Atlantis and Discovery devices

- Integrated assessment and training procedures for individualized therapy approaches

- Immersive feedback design with auditory and vibrotactile feedback

- IFEN evoked potentials for precise neurophysiological assessment

- Proprietary IFEN software and hardware developments from the IFEN Neuroscience Lab

- Complementary biofeedback modules for holistic self-regulation

Another important component is the collaboration with BrainMaster in the research and development environment. It creates the basis for continuously advancing clinical experience, neuroscientific insights, and technological innovation – for a healthcare sector that is gaining increasing relevance given the growing importance of mental health.

The new building in Parsberg thus represents a clear look into the future: modern structures, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the targeted use of innovative neuromodulation for the benefit of patients.
