It measures the breathing pattern based on the expansion and contraction of the rib cage/abdomen and is typically expressed as respiratory rate as well as respiratory amplitude or changes in the breathing pattern over time.

It supports structured sessions to improve heart rate variability (HRV) as well as patterns related to respiratory sinus arrhythmia (RSA) and cardiorespiratory synchronization (CRS) – including tools for real-time coaching, session documentation, and post-analysis.
